Lifelong love and observation of Nature especially birds, wild flowers and butterflies which she has continuously
painted since early childhood. She also became a registered bird ringer with The British Trust for Ornithology.

Then the more difficult part - 'forgetting' everything one had been taught in order for it to dissolve into the melting pot, so that ones own way of painting Nature can form, half from the outside world, and the other half using 'Active Imagination'

Ann has her own gallery at The Gnome Reserve and Wildflower Garden in N Devon, yearly selling many hundreds of prints to visitors.
50% to adults and 50% to children.

Her prints of the following are in private collections in the UK inc Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, France, Guernsey, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Cyprus, Denmark, Spain, Holland, Finland, Sweden, Dubai, South Africa. Australia, New Zealand,Canada and the USA.

2 painting documentaries made for television. One by a freelance filmmaker and one by BBC2 with a commentary by Harry Enfield.
